New in vWork: Address Assistant

Open the new job screen. When you now type in the address field, you’ll notice a drop-down box appears below the field suggesting real-wolrd addresses based on what you type. You can select an address from the list to complete the field.

And why does it say “Located on Map” when you select an address? That’s a hint for what’s coming up in one of our next releases.

Stacks of iPhones

Eighty iPhones deployed to a single vWork customer. Is this the largest single iPhone rollout to a business customer in NZ? I’d be interested to know…

New in vWork:

Steps Record When Completed
Jobs now record when each of their steps are completed. Once a step is completed (typically from the worker’s iPhone) the day and time it was completed are shown just above the step on the job screen.

Planned And Actual Job Durations Are Shown.
Jobs now show the planned and actual durations that they took. When a job is complete you will see actual duration shown along side the planned duration.

Resources Are Now Called Workers
We’ve tidied up our language. Resources are now consistently called Workers throughout the application.
