vWork 1.7 is a big release for us. We’re introducing exciting new functionality to our maps, and we’re rolling out our new look and feel.

Maps now show Worker’s Jobs.

The maps screen can now display a worker’s schedule. You’ll notice there’s a new drop-down box at the top of the screen. This lets you select a worker. Once a worker is selected, their day’s schedule is overlaid on the map. You can easily visualize where the worker’s been (i.e. completed work) and where they’re going (i.e. upcoming jobs), making it easier to minimize travel distances in your schedule. No more scheduling a worker to travel from one side of the city to the other. 

Updated look and feel

We’re also rolling out our new look and feel (for the non-designers out there. this means ‘how stuff looks’). We’ve worked hard to make every button in the application more readable, more obvious (if you need to read a manual, then we’ve failed), and just generally more polished looking. We hope you enjoy it.
