Sneak Peek: vWorkApp for Nokia 6100

The mobile development team at vWorkApp has been hard at work lately, preparing new and exciting features for our customers.

One of the most exciting mobile projects we are working on right now is without a doubt our mobile edition of vWorkApp for the popular Nokia 6100 cellular telephone.

vWorkApp is a cloud-based dispatch tool for managing mobile workers. vWorkApp lets companies dispatch and track deliveries across drivers. Companies can schedule deliveries, track driver progress via GPS, and produce performance reports.

Nature’s Health Connection Challenges

Nature’s Health Connection is a delivery company based in northern California. The owner of the company, Claudio, has built the business by providing a high quality and personalized service to his customers. However, as they’ve grown, Claudio has found that his delivery operations have become disorganized and increasingly time consuming.

Claudio’s previous process was to write dispatch schedules on paper and sticky notes. He would call each driver to inform them of new deliveries, then waste time calling them back to get updates on the progress of their deliveries.

Information about deliveries was manually logged into Excel, where transcription errors frequently caused problems with billing and inventory. Claudio also found that deliveries took too long to reach their destination.

The vWorkApp Solution

vWorkApp solved Claudio’s dispatching, scheduling and organization problems. Before vWorkApp, Nature’s Health Connection was making 12 to 13 deliveries per driver per day. Now with vWorkApp they are making 18 deliveries per driver per day. Even with the increased workload, Claudio has four fewer hours of paperwork to complete each day and has eliminated the errors in his billing and inventory.
