Lots of customers have been asking us for better ways of sharing their reports. Do you need to:
- Email a Job Receipt to a customer?
- Print a Job Sheet for a worker who has left their phone at home?
- Email a report from your phone or tablet?
Well, now you can.
Report Sharing
vWorkApp now supports three new ways of sharing your reports. They are:
- You can print the report straight from the browser.
- You can save the report to your computer as a PDF for later use.
- You can email the report to whoever you like straight from your web browser.
To see all these options, simply choose the report you want to run, select the relevant customers, workers, or timeframe and click “Generate”. Once the report has run, you will see three blue buttons below the generate button. Simply click the one you want and follow the instructions.
Reports Now Viewable on iPads or Android Tablets
You may have noticed that we are slowly phasing out Flash and replacing it with HTML5. This means that these portions of the app are now usable in the web browser on your iPad or Android Tablet. We started with the Reports section and we’ll be adding more soon. Simply login to the vWorkApp website from your tablet, run the report you need, and email it to your customers from there. No need to go back to the office computer to get things done.
Want another useful tip? Bookmark your frequently used reports and go straight to them without having to login or go through the main menu!
Additions to Full CSV Export
We have recently added the step completion times and locations to the CSV export report. This means the CSV now contains every piece of available job information. You can use this report as an archive of all your job data or for importing your jobs into other systems.
Custom Report
We have also added a new report, the “Custom Job Receipt”. This report is based on the “Job Receipt” but allows you to filter what information you want shown on the report before showing it to your customers. Do you need to run a report showing all your job signatures for the day, but don’t want custom field or step information? No problem.
