I am pleased to announce the release of vWorkApp 4.9. This release includes a couple of new features as well as some new menu layouts intended to make the tools you use every day easier to find.
It is now possible to search the map. You can search for workers, customers, jobs or street addresses. Just start typing in the search box and we’ll display all the options to you. Click on one of the options to jump to that item on the map. In the example below, you can see that searching for “Heather” results in a list of workers with Heather in their name, a street called Heather St, a couple of customers with Heather in their company name and a job with instructions to pick up Heather from the airport. Clicking on any of these search results will jump you to that result displayed on the map.
We have also included an option to hide or show unassigned jobs on the map. You can make this choice by simply clicking the checkbox at the top of the map.
Finally, you will notice that we have simplified the top menu bar and hidden some of the rarely used items like admin, logout and help under a settings menu item. Simply click on the settings icon on the right hand side of the menu bar if you need to access any of these options.
