v-Track

Where are they and what are they doing?

More than just a dot on the map, it’s about providing you with enough information to answer one question -
"Am I as efficient and profitable as I should be?" vTrack has been designed to give you visibility of what your vehicles
and staff are doing, or maybe not doing.

vTrack Benefits Include:

Increase Revenue
This is really easy to achieve. Improved efficiency and behavior + complete visibility of your operation = more billable hours and revenue.

Realize Immediate Savings
Improve driving behavior and reduce fuel and maintenance costs. The most efficient routes can be planned and used.
Improve Dispatch & Customer Service
Who is the nearest person to the customer who is not already on a job? Do we have sufficient coverage throughout the region today? “They are only 15 minutes away ma'am.”
Manage the Fleet
Receive warnings when CoF/WoF, Rego, RUC, insurances, lease contracts, etc are about to expire. Know when you need to book vehicles in for servicing.
Eradicate Time Theft
No late starts and early knock offs, no more long lunches, no more cashies, no towing the boat with the bosses ute.

Duty of Care
Ensure that your vehicles are being operated in a safe and efficient manner. Know where your staff are if they are overdue or lost.

Locate Stolen or Lost Assets
Over the past 36 months, VisFleet’s customers have had 18 vehicles/items of plant stolen. All 18 have been recovered.

How vTrack Works

vTrack works in any web browser with Adobe Flash installed. If you have a reasonably modern PC and access to the Internet, you already have everything you need, and you can begin working with vTrack immediately.

When the engine is running or your vehicles are moving, the vTrack system provides you with information on their location and operation up to six times per minute. Even when the vehicle is parked with the engine off, the vTrack unit checks once every hour.

If your vehicle leaves cellular coverage temporarily, the vTrack unit stores operating information in its internal memory and automatically sends the stored data as soon as it comes back into coverage.

Reports & Replay

Customers are able to download standard reports as well as run replays. These reports are available as either PDF or MS Excel files and provide detail on start and stop locations (down to street address), trip distances, speed, time stationary, time idling, etc. Where did they stop? How far did they travel? Who’s been speeding? Get reports for vehicle activity and history. Plus you can pull report data into Excel or the system of your choice.

It’s In The Detail

Work with street address level data, view property boundaries, jump to addresses, report on vehicle locations. Normal time based polling only provides you with a snapshot of where your vehicle travels. Use our Deflection Polling to see exactly the path taken by your vehicles. You can see them turn into driveways, pull up behind buildings, and swerve to avoid obstacles.

Maintenance and Compliance

View a live table of your assets sorted by status. Maintain service and compliance information against vehicles.

Google Earth integration & Google Earth Replay

For stunning visual presentation of fleet and vehicle movements, the vTrack system offers a one-click interface to Google Earth, a free application featuring satellite imagery, aerial and road photography and road data superimposed onto a virtual 3D globe.

Geofences

Report when vehicles enter or leave customer sites, home locations or out of bounds areas, etc. Click and draw on the map to create custom polygon based geofences. Add locations by simply clicking on the map.

vTrack Data

VisFleet hosts your data in a secure data centre. Redundant hardware and regular backups mean your data is always safe. Data in the vTrack system can be extracted for use in your own applications through the use of the vTrack industry-standard web services API.
