The expansion of an Australian based company into New Zealand after winning a large contract meant that it was a near green fields opportunity to set up new business processes and systems. The goal was to support Landscape Solutions manage their high-volume job scheduling requirements.
The team at Landscape Solutions are managing a high volume of jobs – requiring different tasks such as mowing, grounds maintenance, cricket wicket preparation, playground management – and all associated with a large number of fixed assets. Each employee is part of a team – the team size can either be an individual or up to 4 people. With complexities like this and strict service level contractual terms to fulfil, Landscape Solutions sought a solution that could simplify job scheduling and make sure that each employees time was fully utilized.
